Barangay Owak

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Owak is one of the administrative divisions of Asturias in Cebu, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Owak had a population of 4,891. This made it the 2nd largest of 27 barangays in Asturias by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Owak accounted for approximately 8.83% of the total population of Asturias, which stood at 55,397 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Owak moving from 3,855 residents to 4,891 residents, an intercensal change of +26.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
