Barangay Esperanza West

Barangay Esperanza West is a small barangay in the municipality of Aurora, located in the province of Isabela, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Esperanza West had a population of 910. This made it the 19th largest of 33 barangays in Aurora by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Esperanza West accounted for approximately 2.48% of the total population of Aurora, which stood at 36,621 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Esperanza West changed from 952 to 910, a shift of -4.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Aurora. Barangay Esperanza West is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
