Barangay San Andres

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay San Andres is one of the administrative divisions of Aurora in Isabela, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Andres had a population of 639. This made it the 24th largest of 33 barangays in Aurora by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Andres accounted for approximately 1.74% of the total population of Aurora, which stood at 36,621 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 579 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 639 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +10.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay San Andres is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Aurora is a municipality comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Andres, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
