Situated in Baggao, Cagayan, Barangay Agaman Norte is one of 48 barangays that make up the municipality within Cagayan Valley.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Agaman Norte had a population of 1,551. This made it the 20th largest of 48 barangays in Baggao by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Agaman Norte accounted for approximately 1.77% of the total population of Baggao, which stood at 87,753 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Agaman Norte changed from 1,610 to 1,551, a shift of -3.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Baggao. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Agaman Norte as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
