Barangay Pasig

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Pasig is one of the administrative divisions of Balabac in Palawan, MIMAROPA Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pasig had a population of 414. This made it the 18th largest of 20 barangays in Balabac by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pasig accounted for approximately 0.97% of the total population of Balabac, which stood at 42,527 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pasig moving from 407 residents to 414 residents, an intercensal change of +1.7%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. Barangay Pasig is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
