Barangay Sebaring

Barangay Sebaring is a small barangay in the municipality of Balabac, located in the province of Palawan, in the MIMAROPA Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Sebaring had a population of 1,080. This made it the 11th largest of 20 barangays in Balabac by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sebaring accounted for approximately 2.54% of the total population of Balabac, which stood at 42,527 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Sebaring moving from 1,113 residents to 1,080 residents, an intercensal change of -3.0%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Sebaring as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Balabac is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Sebaring, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
