Barangay Santiago Nacacale

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Santiago Nacacale is one of the administrative divisions of Balatan in Camarines Sur, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santiago Nacacale had a population of 452. This made it the 14th largest of 17 barangays in Balatan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santiago Nacacale accounted for approximately 1.47% of the total population of Balatan, which stood at 30,669 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Santiago Nacacale changed from 398 to 452, a shift of +13.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Balatan. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santiago Nacacale as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
