Barangay Aranas

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Aranas is one of the administrative divisions of Balete in Aklan, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Aranas had a population of 5,609. This made it the 1st largest of 10 barangays in Balete by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Aranas accounted for approximately 18.64% of the total population of Balete, which stood at 30,090 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Aranas moving from 5,256 residents to 5,609 residents, an intercensal change of +6.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
