Barangay Paitan

Situated in Baliuag, Bulacan, Barangay Paitan is one of 27 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Paitan had a population of 1,863. This made it the 27th largest of 27 barangays in Baliuag by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Paitan accounted for approximately 1.11% of the total population of Baliuag, which stood at 168,470 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Paitan changed from 1,517 to 1,863, a shift of +22.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Baliuag. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Paitan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
