Barangay Pinagbarilan

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Pinagbarilan is one of the administrative divisions of Baliuag in Bulacan, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pinagbarilan had a population of 6,580. This made it the 12th largest of 27 barangays in Baliuag by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pinagbarilan accounted for approximately 3.91% of the total population of Baliuag, which stood at 168,470 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 5,357 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 6,580 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +22.8%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pinagbarilan as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Baliuag is a municipality comprising 27 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pinagbarilan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bulacan, which contains 569 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Pinagbarilan ranks 174th by 2020 population. Bulacan is classified as a 1st by the Bureau of Local Government Finance, a category that reflects the province's annual regular income.
