Barangay Almaguer North

Barangay Almaguer North is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Bambang, located in the province of Nueva Vizcaya, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Almaguer North had a population of 2,982. This made it the 6th largest of 25 barangays in Bambang by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Almaguer North accounted for approximately 5.35% of the total population of Bambang, which stood at 55,789 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,148 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,982 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +38.8%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Almaguer North is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Bambang is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Almaguer North, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
