Barangay Caestebanan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Caestebanan is one of the administrative divisions of Banna in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Caestebanan had a population of 836. This made it the 16th largest of 20 barangays in Banna by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Caestebanan accounted for approximately 4.33% of the total population of Banna, which stood at 19,297 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Caestebanan moving from 1,063 residents to 836 residents, an intercensal change of -21.4%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Caestebanan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
