Barangay Crispina

Situated in Banna, Ilocos Norte, Barangay Crispina is one of 20 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Crispina had a population of 955. This made it the 9th largest of 20 barangays in Banna by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Crispina accounted for approximately 4.95% of the total population of Banna, which stood at 19,297 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 984 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 955 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -2.9%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Crispina as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Banna is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Crispina, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
