Situated in Batuan, Bohol, Barangay Rizal is one of 15 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Rizal had a population of 1,382. This made it the 2nd largest of 15 barangays in Batuan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Rizal accounted for approximately 9.98% of the total population of Batuan, which stood at 13,845 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Rizal moving from 1,295 residents to 1,382 residents, an intercensal change of +6.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
