Barangay Imbatug (Pob.)

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Imbatug (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Baungon in Bukidnon, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Imbatug (Pob.) had a population of 7,487. This made it the 1st largest of 16 barangays in Baungon by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Imbatug (Pob.) accounted for approximately 20.17% of the total population of Baungon, which stood at 37,111 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 6,363 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 7,487 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +17.7%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Imbatug (Pob.) is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Baungon is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Imbatug (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bukidnon, which contains 464 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Imbatug (Pob.) ranks 42nd by 2020 population.
