Barangay Cabuaan

Situated in Bautista, Pangasinan, Barangay Cabuaan is one of 18 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Cabuaan had a population of 1,570. This made it the 11th largest of 18 barangays in Bautista by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cabuaan accounted for approximately 4.44% of the total population of Bautista, which stood at 35,398 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Cabuaan changed from 1,399 to 1,570, a shift of +12.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Bautista. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Cabuaan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bautista is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cabuaan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
