Barangay Cacandongan

Barangay Cacandongan is a small barangay in the municipality of Bautista, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cacandongan had a population of 900. This made it the 17th largest of 18 barangays in Bautista by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cacandongan accounted for approximately 2.54% of the total population of Bautista, which stood at 35,398 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Cacandongan changed from 909 to 900, a shift of -1.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in Bautista. Barangay Cacandongan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bautista is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cacandongan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
