Barangay Amamperez

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Amamperez is one of the administrative divisions of Bayambang in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Amamperez had a population of 1,137. This made it the 61st largest of 77 barangays in Bayambang by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Amamperez accounted for approximately 0.88% of the total population of Bayambang, which stood at 129,011 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,058 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,137 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +7.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Amamperez is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bayambang is a municipality comprising 77 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Amamperez, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pangasinan, which contains 1,364 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Amamperez ranks 1101st by 2020 population. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
