Barangay Amancosiling Sur

Situated in Bayambang, Pangasinan, Barangay Amancosiling Sur is one of 77 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Amancosiling Sur had a population of 2,877. This made it the 8th largest of 77 barangays in Bayambang by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Amancosiling Sur accounted for approximately 2.23% of the total population of Bayambang, which stood at 129,011 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,812 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,877 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +2.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Amancosiling Sur as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bayambang is a municipality comprising 77 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Amancosiling Sur, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
