Barangay Bical Norte

Barangay Bical Norte is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Bayambang, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bical Norte had a population of 3,661. This made it the 1st largest of 77 barangays in Bayambang by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bical Norte accounted for approximately 2.84% of the total population of Bayambang, which stood at 129,011 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bical Norte moving from 3,005 residents to 3,661 residents, an intercensal change of +21.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bical Norte as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bayambang is a municipality comprising 77 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bical Norte, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
