Barangay Macayocayo

Situated in Bayambang, Pangasinan, Barangay Macayocayo is one of 77 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Macayocayo had a population of 1,569. This made it the 34th largest of 77 barangays in Bayambang by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. The barangay recorded 1,439 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,569 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +9.0%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Macayocayo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
