Barangay Maigpa

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Maigpa is one of the administrative divisions of Bayambang in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Maigpa had a population of 1,473. This made it the 43rd largest of 77 barangays in Bayambang by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Maigpa accounted for approximately 1.14% of the total population of Bayambang, which stood at 129,011 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,477 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,473 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -0.3%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. Barangay Maigpa is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bayambang is a municipality comprising 77 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Maigpa, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
