Barangay Pangdel

Barangay Pangdel is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Bayambang, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pangdel had a population of 2,235. This made it the 18th largest of 77 barangays in Bayambang by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pangdel accounted for approximately 1.73% of the total population of Bayambang, which stood at 129,011 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pangdel moving from 2,212 residents to 2,235 residents, an intercensal change of +1.0%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pangdel as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
