Barangay Tanolong

Situated in Bayambang, Pangasinan, Barangay Tanolong is one of 77 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tanolong had a population of 3,382. This made it the 3rd largest of 77 barangays in Bayambang by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tanolong accounted for approximately 2.62% of the total population of Bayambang, which stood at 129,011 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Tanolong changed from 3,044 to 3,382, a shift of +11.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Bayambang. Barangay Tanolong is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bayambang is a municipality comprising 77 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tanolong, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
