Barangay Wawa

Barangay Wawa forms part of Bayambang, a municipality in Pangasinan, and is classified as a small barangay.

This made it the 28th largest of 77 barangays in Bayambang by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. The barangay recorded 1,572 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,776 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +13.0%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Wawa as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bayambang is a municipality comprising 77 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Wawa, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
