Barangay Campagao

Barangay Campagao forms part of Bilar, a municipality in Bohol, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Campagao had a population of 1,349. This made it the 4th largest of 19 barangays in Bilar by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Campagao accounted for approximately 7.29% of the total population of Bilar, which stood at 18,512 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Campagao moving from 1,339 residents to 1,349 residents, an intercensal change of +0.7%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Campagao as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bilar is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Campagao, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
