Barangay Kinaboogan

Barangay Kinaboogan is a small barangay in the municipality of Binangonan, located in the province of Rizal, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Kinaboogan had a population of 1,267. This made it the 34th largest of 40 barangays in Binangonan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kinaboogan accounted for approximately 0.40% of the total population of Binangonan, which stood at 313,631 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Kinaboogan moving from 1,370 residents to 1,267 residents, an intercensal change of -7.5%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Kinaboogan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Binangonan is a municipality comprising 40 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Kinaboogan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Rizal, which contains 189 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Kinaboogan ranks 169th by 2020 population. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
