Barangay Limbon-limbon

Barangay Limbon-limbon is a small barangay in the municipality of Binangonan, located in the province of Rizal, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Limbon-limbon had a population of 1,702. This made it the 30th largest of 40 barangays in Binangonan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Limbon-limbon accounted for approximately 0.54% of the total population of Binangonan, which stood at 313,631 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Limbon-limbon moving from 1,590 residents to 1,702 residents, an intercensal change of +7.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Limbon-limbon as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Binangonan is a municipality comprising 40 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Limbon-limbon, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Rizal, which contains 189 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Limbon-limbon ranks 155th by 2020 population.
