Barangay Pila Pila

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Pila Pila is one of the administrative divisions of Binangonan in Rizal, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pila Pila had a population of 9,437. This made it the 16th largest of 40 barangays in Binangonan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pila Pila accounted for approximately 3.01% of the total population of Binangonan, which stood at 313,631 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 9,190 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 9,437 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +2.7%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pila Pila as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Binangonan is a municipality comprising 40 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pila Pila, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Rizal, which contains 189 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Pila Pila ranks 78th by 2020 population.
