Barangay Cabugan

Situated in Bindoy, Negros Oriental, Barangay Cabugan is one of 22 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cabugan had a population of 1,642. This made it the 11th largest of 22 barangays in Bindoy by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cabugan accounted for approximately 4.07% of the total population of Bindoy, which stood at 40,308 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Cabugan moving from 1,623 residents to 1,642 residents, an intercensal change of +1.2%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community.
