Barangay Domolog

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Domolog is one of the administrative divisions of Bindoy in Negros Oriental, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Domolog had a population of 1,902. This made it the 8th largest of 22 barangays in Bindoy by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Domolog accounted for approximately 4.72% of the total population of Bindoy, which stood at 40,308 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Domolog moving from 1,773 residents to 1,902 residents, an intercensal change of +7.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Domolog is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bindoy is a municipality comprising 22 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Domolog, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
