Barangay Gayaman

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Gayaman is one of the administrative divisions of Binmaley in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Gayaman had a population of 4,286. This made it the 3rd largest of 33 barangays in Binmaley by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Gayaman accounted for approximately 4.93% of the total population of Binmaley, which stood at 86,881 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 4,189 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 4,286 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +2.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Gayaman as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Binmaley is a municipality comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Gayaman, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pangasinan, which contains 1,364 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Gayaman ranks 125th by 2020 population. The barangay's legislative and executive affairs are handled by a Punong Barangay and the Sangguniang Barangay, elected nationwide during the Barangay and SK Elections. The next BSKE is scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, following the synchronized election schedule set by COMELEC Resolution No. 11191.
