Barangay Pallas

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Pallas is one of the administrative divisions of Binmaley in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pallas had a population of 2,240. This made it the 24th largest of 33 barangays in Binmaley by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pallas accounted for approximately 2.58% of the total population of Binmaley, which stood at 86,881 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,032 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,240 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +10.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Pallas is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Binmaley is a municipality comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pallas, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pangasinan, which contains 1,364 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Pallas ranks 538th by 2020 population. Pangasinan is classified as a 1st by the Bureau of Local Government Finance, a category that reflects the province's annual regular income.
