Barangay Papagueyan

Barangay Papagueyan forms part of Binmaley, a municipality in Pangasinan, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Papagueyan had a population of 1,767. This made it the 26th largest of 33 barangays in Binmaley by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Papagueyan accounted for approximately 2.03% of the total population of Binmaley, which stood at 86,881 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,635 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,767 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +8.1%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Papagueyan as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
