Barangay Balogo

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Balogo is one of the administrative divisions of Boac in Marinduque, MIMAROPA Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Balogo had a population of 1,548. This made it the 11th largest of 61 barangays in Boac by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Balogo accounted for approximately 2.70% of the total population of Boac, which stood at 57,283 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Balogo moving from 1,565 residents to 1,548 residents, an intercensal change of -1.1%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. Barangay Balogo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
