Barangay San Isidro

Barangay San Isidro is a small barangay in the municipality of Buguey, located in the province of Cagayan, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 1,008. This made it the 11th largest of 30 barangays in Buguey by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 3.14% of the total population of Buguey, which stood at 32,148 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Isidro moving from 971 residents to 1,008 residents, an intercensal change of +3.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Isidro as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
