Barangay San Isidro

Situated in Cabangan, Zambales, Barangay San Isidro is one of 22 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 2,321. This made it the 2nd largest of 22 barangays in Cabangan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 8.25% of the total population of Cabangan, which stood at 28,118 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,180 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,321 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +6.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Isidro as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Cabangan is a municipality comprising 22 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Isidro, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
