Barangay Bunga

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Bunga is one of the administrative divisions of Cabucgayan in Biliran, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bunga had a population of 4,400. This made it the 1st largest of 13 barangays in Cabucgayan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bunga accounted for approximately 20.43% of the total population of Cabucgayan, which stood at 21,542 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bunga moving from 4,041 residents to 4,400 residents, an intercensal change of +8.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Bunga is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
