This made it the 15th largest of 48 barangays in Calabanga by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Binanuaanan Grande accounted for approximately 2.15% of the total population of Calabanga, which stood at 88,906 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,847 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,910 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +3.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Binanuaanan Grande as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
