Barangay Binanuaanan Pequeño

Barangay Binanuaanan Pequeño is a small barangay in the municipality of Calabanga, located in the province of Camarines Sur, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Binanuaanan Pequeño had a population of 686. This made it the 42nd largest of 48 barangays in Calabanga by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Binanuaanan Pequeño accounted for approximately 0.77% of the total population of Calabanga, which stood at 88,906 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 622 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 686 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +10.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Binanuaanan Pequeño as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Calabanga is a municipality comprising 48 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Binanuaanan Pequeño, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
