Barangay Madalunot

Situated in Calaca, Batangas, Barangay Madalunot is one of 40 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Madalunot had a population of 2,417. This made it the 13th largest of 40 barangays in Calaca by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Madalunot accounted for approximately 2.77% of the total population of Calaca, which stood at 87,361 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,927 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,417 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +25.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Madalunot is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
