Barangay Dapacan Alto

Situated in Calamba, Misamis Occidental, Barangay Dapacan Alto is one of 19 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Dapacan Alto had a population of 1,068. This made it the 9th largest of 19 barangays in Calamba by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dapacan Alto accounted for approximately 4.60% of the total population of Calamba, which stood at 23,227 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Dapacan Alto changed from 1,040 to 1,068, a shift of +2.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Calamba. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dapacan Alto as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
