Barangay Limao

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Limao is one of the administrative divisions of Calauan in Laguna, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Limao had a population of 4,641. This made it the 7th largest of 17 barangays in Calauan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Limao accounted for approximately 5.29% of the total population of Calauan, which stood at 87,693 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Limao moving from 4,444 residents to 4,641 residents, an intercensal change of +4.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Limao as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Calauan is a municipality comprising 17 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Limao, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
