Barangay Masiit

Barangay Masiit is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Calauan, located in the province of Laguna, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Masiit had a population of 4,977. This made it the 5th largest of 17 barangays in Calauan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Masiit accounted for approximately 5.68% of the total population of Calauan, which stood at 87,693 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Masiit moving from 4,247 residents to 4,977 residents, an intercensal change of +17.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Masiit is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
