Barangay Dalupiri

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Dalupiri is one of the administrative divisions of Calayan in Cagayan, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Dalupiri had a population of 621. This made it the 12th largest of 12 barangays in Calayan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dalupiri accounted for approximately 3.57% of the total population of Calayan, which stood at 17,410 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Dalupiri changed from 472 to 621, a shift of +31.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Calayan. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dalupiri as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Calayan is a municipality comprising 12 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Dalupiri, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
