Barangay Naguilian

Barangay Naguilian is a small barangay in the municipality of Calayan, located in the province of Cagayan, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Naguilian had a population of 1,617. This made it the 7th largest of 12 barangays in Calayan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Naguilian accounted for approximately 9.29% of the total population of Calayan, which stood at 17,410 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Naguilian moving from 1,483 residents to 1,617 residents, an intercensal change of +9.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
