Barangay Del Pilar

Situated in Capalonga, Camarines Norte, Barangay Del Pilar is one of 22 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Del Pilar had a population of 1,901. This made it the 8th largest of 22 barangays in Capalonga by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Del Pilar accounted for approximately 5.25% of the total population of Capalonga, which stood at 36,223 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,602 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,901 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +18.7%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Del Pilar is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Capalonga is a municipality comprising 22 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Del Pilar, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
