Barangay Mabini

Situated in Capalonga, Camarines Norte, Barangay Mabini is one of 22 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mabini had a population of 674. This made it the 20th largest of 22 barangays in Capalonga by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mabini accounted for approximately 1.86% of the total population of Capalonga, which stood at 36,223 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 633 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 674 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +6.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Mabini is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Capalonga is a municipality comprising 22 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Mabini, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Camarines Norte, which contains 282 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Mabini ranks 253rd by 2020 population.
