Barangay Bothoan (Pob.)

Barangay Bothoan (Pob.) is a small barangay in the municipality of Caramoran, located in the province of Catanduanes, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bothoan (Pob.) had a population of 1,063. This made it the 12th largest of 27 barangays in Caramoran by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bothoan (Pob.) accounted for approximately 3.31% of the total population of Caramoran, which stood at 32,114 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Bothoan (Pob.) changed from 928 to 1,063, a shift of +14.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Caramoran. Barangay Bothoan (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
