Barangay Supang

Situated in Caramoran, Catanduanes, Barangay Supang is one of 27 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Supang had a population of 999. This made it the 14th largest of 27 barangays in Caramoran by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Supang accounted for approximately 3.11% of the total population of Caramoran, which stood at 32,114 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Supang moving from 966 residents to 999 residents, an intercensal change of +3.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Supang as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Caramoran is a municipality comprising 27 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Supang, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
